Energetic Healing

Energy healing targets the energy fields around the body. According to practitioners, energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or possibly emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness.

Reiki: Reiki energy healing is a transference of universal life force energy through the hands of the practitioner to the client. It can be administered alone or as part of the massage treatment as a powerful modality to relieve stress and pain.

Vibrational Therapy (Sound Healing): Sound or in particular, vibrations have been utilized in various cultures for thousands of years as a tool for healing. Sound helps to facilitate shifts in our brainwave state by using entrainment. Entrainment synchronizes our fluctuating brainwaves by providing a stable frequency which the brainwave can attune to. By using rhythm and frequency, we can entrain our brainwaves, and it then becomes possible to down-shift our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), and even reach theta (meditative state) and delta (sleep; where internal healing can occur).

Yoga: Movement is nutrition for the joints, muscles, mind, and spirit. Our passionate yoga instructors teach at every level, to help clients relax and get their body energy flowing to clear the mind, the body, and the spirit. Much healing occurs through movement of the body. We will be offering different yoga and movement therapies, including Yoga Nidra, Qi-gong, and others.

Yoga Nidra: Yoga Nidra is a practice that takes persons into a state of integrated deep relaxation while remaining awake at a conscious level. When the body and mind find complete stillness, the consciousness remains to restore system imbalances and move toward healing physical, psychological, and chronic conditions. Furthermore, the stillness allows a person to see beyond space/time; experience, perceptions, and identity, and thus foster a person’s ability to live well with any circumstance. You will be mostly lying down, so bring your favorite blanket/pillow/mat (we have a few to share) and release all the stress that you have been carrying around.
